Did you know 3D printed AFOs are not printed one at a time?
  • Our printer has a building box where it can print multiple high-quality parts in one print cycle.
  • The more parts we can configure into the box the more efficient the cycle and turn around times.
  • Because of this there is a maximum length limitation of 14″ (ideal input length = 13.5″).

How to measure: A device cannot exceed the 14″ building box length restriction. ie: a plantarflexed solid AFO should be measured in a straight line from the proximal trim line to the end of the foot plate. An articulated AFO is printed in two separate pieces, so the proximal section can be 14″ in length.
