Cheetah

Dynamic SMO

RECOMMENDED FOR:

  • Moderate to severe subtalar joint pathomechanics
  • Transitional patients (crawl to cruise)
  • More stability than a UCBL or FO
  • Distal base of support

Not recommended for:

  • Knee hyperextension
  • Tight heel cords or contractures
  • Proximal instabilities of the knee

  • Dorsiflexion weakness
  • Toe walking
  • Knee hyperextension
  • Passive/functional dorsiflexion

RECOMMENDED FOR:

  • Dorsiflexion weakness
  • Mild premature heel rise (toe walking)
  • Mild to moderate subtalar pathomechanics
  • Resistance to plantar flexion w/free dorsiflexion

Not recommended for:

  • Knee hyperextension
  • Limited or no dorsiflexion ROM
  • Severe subtalar joint pathomechanics

Leopard

Solid AFO Single Pull Dynamic

RECOMMENDED FOR:

  • Dorsiflexion weakness
  • Mild plantar flexion weakness
  • Knee hypertension
  • Toe walking w/lack of dorsiflexion ROM
  • Mild to moderate subtalar pathomechanics

Not recommended for:

  • Severe subtalar joint pathomechanics
  • Passive/functional dorsiflexion ROM

Tiger

Solid AFO w/Dynamic Inner Boot

RECOMMENDED FOR:

  • Dorsiflexion & plantar flexion weakness
  • Knee hypertension
  • Toe walking w/lack of dorsiflexion ROM
  • Maximum control of foot/ankle complex

Not recommended for:

  • Passive/functional dorsiflexion ROM

RECOMMENDED FOR:

  • Knee extension moment
  • Crouch gait secondary to weak quads and/or plantar flexors
  • Knee flexion instability

  • Maintaining ankle joint ROM
  • Positioning for wheel chair or stroller
  • Night time positioning

Not recommended for:

  • Ambulatory patients
  • Severe tone

Panther

Night Time Stretching AFO

RECOMMENDED FOR:

  • Increasing or maintaining ankle joint ROM at night time (limited household ambulation only)

Not recommended for:

  • Patients with ROM limitations due to bony blocks or long standing contractures
